What started as Velvet Room has become something far bigger than we imagined.

Over the winter of 2025/2026, we launched a temporary popup inside a historic Main Street space. It quickly evolved into one of Park City’s most talked about gathering places. Guests came for the cocktails, the atmosphere, and the music. And they returned because of the people.

Velvet Room confirmed for us that Park City is ready for something different.

This summer, we return to the same location with an expanded experience including a new patio lounge, extended programming, and an enhanced food menu. The energy that made the winter season so memorable is back, now with even more opportunities to gather.

But summer is only the beginning.

Later this year, Velvet Room will move into a significantly larger home nearby. The new destination will include multiple concepts and experiences designed to serve different moods, occasions, and communities under one umbrella.

Plans include:

• refined cocktail lounge

• intimate speakeasy experience

• supper club featuring curated entertainment and dining events

• private dining and event spaces

• new restaurant concept operating under its own distinct brand

• exclusive member events, cultural programming, and special experiences throughout the year

As our vision expands, so does our membership program.

Beginning with the 2026/2027 season, membership will no longer be limited to a single venue.

Members will join Athenaeum, our new umbrella membership community with benefits and access extending across all participating venues, events, and experiences.

Athenaeum memberships are designed for individuals who value exceptional hospitality, meaningful connections, priority access, and experiences not available to the general public. Early members receive preferred pricing, waived initiation fees, and benefits that may not be available in future membership offerings.

Keyholder $1,250

  • (Under 40 $1000)

  • Complimentary, priority admission and coat check for Keyholder +1 guest at Athenaeum venues dependent on space unless member has a reservation

  • Half price admission and coat check for 2 additional guests subject to space

  • Access to dedicated concierge email and phone for dining and nightlife reservations at Athenaeum venues and to Athenaeum events

  • Invitations to Athenaeum Golden Key events and opportunities throughout the year

Sovereign Key $3,750

  • Shareable amongst two individuals

  • Complimentary, priority admission and coat check for Sovereign Key holder +3 guests at Athenaeum venues dependent on space unless member has a reservation

  • Access to dedicated concierge email and phone for dining and nightlife reservations at Athenaeum venues and tickets to Athenaeum events

  • Invitations to Athenaeum Golden Key events and opportunities throughout the year

Keymaster $12,500

  • Immediate complimentary, priority admission and coat check for Keymaster + up to 5 guests at Athenaeum nightlife venues

  • Guaranteed table for 2 during normal dining operation at Athenaeum restaurant without reservation

  • Ability to reserve The Alcove and private dining spaces including premium bar and dedicated staff

  • Use of personal onsite locker for temperature-controlled storage of member wine

  • Complimentary roundtrip black car service to and from Athenaeum venues in a night

  • Access to dedicated concierge email and phone for dining and nightlife reservations at Athenaeum venues and tickets to Athenaeum events

  • Invitations and highest priority access to Athenaeum Golden Key events and opportunities throughout the year.r
